Privacy Policy

Short version: you give us your name and email, we send you the case study and a few follow-up emails. We don't sell your data and we don't keep it longer than you want us to.
What we collect
When you fill in the form on our site we collect the name and email address you type in. If you arrive from an ad or from a message we've sent you, we also record which one, using the link you clicked (for example a "source" tag in the web address).
Our site also stores a small amount of information on your device so we can tell which ad or message brought you here, even if you scroll around or come back later.
How we measure our ads
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 10020524). It sets a cookie so LinkedIn can tell us whether people who saw our ad went on to read the case study or ask for it. That's how we know which ads are worth running. We can't see who you are with it, and you can turn cookies off in your browser at any time.
Why we collect it
To send you what you asked for, to keep our email list tidy, and to work out which ads are bringing in readers. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
We use a handful of services to run the emails and the site: an email platform (Systeme.io) that holds your name and email so it can deliver our messages, an internal alerts tool (Slack) so we know a new reader has arrived, and LinkedIn for ad measurement as described above. These providers process our data under their own terms. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Until you tell us to stop. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you asked not to be emailed so we don't accidentally add you back. If you ask us to delete you, we delete you.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works immediately and costs nothing. If you'd like a copy of what we hold about you, or want it removed, email james@sunbearmarketing.com and we'll handle it.
Where it's held
Sun Bear Marketing operates from Australia. The services above store data in data centres around the world, including the United States. We only use providers we'd be happy to be quoted by name.
